Australian Owned and independently operated for over 40 years, our service and product quality are our signature.

Selection Steel Trading has been providing personalized service saving money and stock holdings to major steel users since 1971. The company is privately owned and operated and has been built around a strong customer service culture.

Products handled include prepainted, aluminised, aluzinc, galvanised, galvanneal, electro-gal, hot rolled, cold rolled and plate steels. Industries serviced include building products, air-conditioning, agriculture, general manufacturing, automotive and engineering. In addition to the strong market position held by the company's Victorian and New South Wales Sales team, its Business Development team also stocks and supplies steel across all other states of Australia.

As commitment to our customers' satisfaction, we are able to tailor supply packages and deliver a level of service and support the big guys will not provide. Therefore, our strength is our customer focus and industry experience.

We believe the global steel industry is constantly changing, and therefore we are continually working hard to understand these moves - we have to, as our survival depends on it.

To survive against the biggest, we have continually developed strong supply relationships that provide products of consistent quality. Selection Steel has to maintain high quality standards so we visit and qualify all of our key steel mills. With the majority of our products coming from New Zealand, Korea, Japan, China and Taiwan, all products ordered meet or exceed Australian Steel Users quality needs. This has been tested and proven over many years.

Selection Steel operates under a fully developed Quality Management System and maintains the appropriate accreditation standards to ISO 9001. A Safety Management System is also implemented, ensuring efficient and safe working practices.

All products are fully traceable on a bar-coded computer system that provides real time accuracy. This technology enables any technical issues to be quickly researched back to the manufacturer of origin. This provides the ability to respond promptly to any queries that may arise.

ColorCote® is a registered trademark of Fletcher Building Ltd and this product has had an Australian market presence for close to 25 years. Any product quality or performance claims that may arise are fully supported and resolved with Pacific Coilcoaters (wholly owned by Fletchers Building Ltd).
